? Key Differences

✔ Stored eSIMs – You can keep multiple eSIM profiles saved (e.g., for travel or work), but only 1-2 can be active at once.
✔ Dual-SIM Functionality – Some phones allow:

  • 1 eSIM + 1 physical SIM (common in older iPhones & Androids)

  • 2 active eSIMs (newer iPhones & select Androids like Pixel)

⚠ Important Notes

  • Data-only eSIMs don’t affect call/SIM limits (you can use them alongside a voice-enabled SIM).

  • Switching eSIMs is manual—you must enable/disable them in settings.

  • Carrier restrictions may apply (some lock eSIMs to one device).
